Our first release was a ‘Britbus’ Leyland/Volvo Olympian available for the first time in knockdown kit form with the exclusive added option to choose either early Leyland or late Volvo versions with parts for both versions included on each kit, also included will be a set of waterslide transfers to bring the finishing touches to your completed model in the livery of your choice. These buses were supplied new to Dublin Bus in Ireland but as they have upgraded the fleet, they have slowly arrived in the UK and have been seen with many operators such as Ensign Bus, Happy Al’s, TM Travel and many more.

Our second release and our most exciting project to announce, a very special commission in association with Stagecoach London, Macmillan Cancer Support and Model Buses Creations in partnership with Northcord Model Company. A very special edition Alexander Dennis Enviro 400H MMC to commemorate a very special vehicle operated by Stagecoach London in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. This project has been a work of passion and commitment from all involved and we are expecting to raise considerable funds from the sale of this exclusive strictly limited-edition model toward essential cancer care and support.

The Model will reflect WLT 546 with the fleet number 10301, and as you would expect from Northcord Model Company, this highly detailed miniature example looks truly splendid in the Macmillan Green with the London Roundel clear in the middle of the lower deck.

Our third release was an all-red Alexander Dennis Enviro 400H MMC, the model will be painted in all over standard issue TfL red paint work with a blue seating on the interior. The model will be finished as listed below to allow the collector or model fleet operator the opportunity to make it into which ever they wish. It could be a Stagecoach London or an entirely fictional London fleet. The model will be fully assembled.

The model will have the following details

• No fleet names or numbers

• No registrations

• No destination displays

Our first release of 2023 is The Spirit of London.  This bus is currently in operation with Stagecoach London, the bus is a reminder of the tragic terror attack in London at Tavistock Square where 52 died and many life’s terribly altered forever. 

The original Spirit of London was the first 1:76 Enviro 400 Diecast models to be released by Creative Master Northcord Limited, now Northcord Model Company Limited. We are delighted to be announcing this Enviro400 MMC model which sits perfectly next to the original model and complements the range.

Our release for 2023 is the very special edition, the original Enviro 400 MMC Demonstrator as appeared and used for the launch of the ADL Enviro400 MMC 

Designed and Built at the ADL Factory in The UK and shown at Bus & Coach events in 2014, before appearing in London for the public to experience this superb result of the latest technology and cutting edge design, The Enviro400 MMC soon became the bus of choice for countless operators across the country with many examples released by Northcord offering a highly detailed example of this stunning bus.

Our sixth release was the long awaited return of this classic casting from Northcord Model Company reissued for the first time in an all white livery allowing collectors to create their own version of this stunning vehicle produced in the one door version allowing many provisional operators' liveries to be added, making their own unique model. 

Our seventh release and first Corgi commission is the Brighton and Hove 419 in absolutely stunning livery dedicated to Sir Harry Ricardo who established the world famous engineering consultancy near the old Toll Bridge in Shoreham in 1927, after inventing the 2 stroke engine for the Dolphin car also used for boats and power plants. Ricardo also designed a series of engines for tanks in World War One, also inventing the IDI Diesel engine used around the world with versions still used today, attracting interest from Napier Bristol and Rolls Royce and developing the Rolls Merlin engines used in World War Two and assisting Sir Frank Whittle with his jet engine. The livery on this unique model is a well known bright and beautiful around Brighton today.

Our eight release represents Go-Ahead London WVL454 in The Elizabeth Line livery. This striking livery is promoting Transport for London's latest cross London train service. The Elizabeth Line all-over decoration depicts a host of stops on the line.

WVL454 was delivered to Go-Ahead London in September 2011 working in South London and then on the East London on the East London Transit routes until 2017. It was given an Elizabeth line vinyl to advertise the opening of the line in 2022, as route 104 has a direct connection to the new line.

Our ninth release and first release of 2024 was ukbus 0070. Representing Stagecoach London 12345 "Selkent Ambassador". The model displays Route 180 to North Greenwich and also features a custom designed box and MBC Numbered Certificate.

Our tenth release was the highly anticipated and extremely limited edition Selkent Ambassador with its "Celebrating 40 Years of Plumstead Garage" blinds. This blind is often seen on the bus at events across the UK and was specially designed for Stagecoach by McKenna Brothers destination blinds.

Our 11th release represents Go-Ahead London Driver Training Bus E81. This model is the first Northcord model to feature a driver training livery. Go-Ahead London currently have a large driver recruitment programme in place and this livery helps the company stand out on the streets of London.

Model Buses Creations' 12th release was the New Bus for London, King Charles III Coronation Edition. LT511 (LTZ 1511) was first registered in August 2015 to Go Ahead London, as part of the batch of buses for the Route 88, operating from Stockwell Garage. Introduced on the Route 88 from September 2015 between Clapham Common to Camden Town. In March 2019, the vehicle allocation was then swapped with the Route 87, which is where the vehicle continues to operate today, still passing the landmarks of Westminster. 

In Early May 2023, the bus chosen as one of five buses across London to receive a special livery to help celebrate the Kings Coronation happening in June 2023. LT511 carried the red version of the special livery for around two months before in July 2023, it was returned back to TFL red.

Our last releases of 2024 came in the form of a quartet of Scania OmniCities, with release number 13 being Stagecoach London 15041. 

15041 has the "new" Stagecoach Local logos. This new branding for Stagecoach was introduced in 2020 and over the following years has been rolled out across all of their fleets. Due to the OmniCities in London being near the end of their working lives, it meant very few of them received these new logos before being removed from London, with 15041 being one of the few to receive them.

Continuing with our OmniCity quartet, our 14th release was ukbus 0076. Following the enormous success of our ukbus 0072 Go-Ahead London driver trainer model, it was clear another driver training model was needed; and what better to model than Stagecoach South East's 15037 in it's wonderful red and white livery promoting careers with Stagecoach. A former London vehicle, it was transferred to Stagecoach South East where it was eventually moved to the training fleet and given the new Local livery's trainer variation.

Marking our 15th release was Stagecoach London 15042, the sister vehicle of 15041 (ukbus 0075), a Scania OmniCity wearing the Stagecoach Beachball logos that it wore for almost it's entire service life in London after Stagecoach took over the East London Bus Group.

This vehicle would be instantly recognisable to anyone in its service area, as these buses were an icon of East London for well over a decade. 

Our 16th release was ukbus 0078, a Scania OmniCity Double Decker in Plain London Red, the perfect match to our previous Dealer White OmniCity release.

The all red livery shows how these vehicles looked before entering service as well as after they departed their lives in London. Many of these vehicles now exist outside of London in plain red. 

This was our last release of 2024, and what an amazing way to end a year of fantastic model bus releases.

Marking MBCs 17th release and our first release of 2025, was our joint commission with Brian Collins Enterprises (BCE) of a Dublin Bus Enviro500. The bus wears the fantastic Dublin Bus livery, and features a highly detailed interior. The model is the first to come with a highly detailed bus stop and road plinth, as well as access to the production suite page where additional information about the vehicle can be found.

Coming in alongside the Dublin Bus release, our 18th release and part of our joint commission with BCE was a Dealer White Enviro500 model. This blank canvas model allows modellers to Code 3 or customise it into different liveries that the Enviro500s wore after departing from Dublin Bus. It is the first 1:76 diecast Enviro500 model to be released to an Ireland & UK specification.

With the Enviro200 marking MBCs first fully owned Casting, the 1st Enviro200 & 19th total release was of Stagecoach East's 8.9m LX56 EAA (36306). With a service in both London and Bedfordshire, this vehicle was a true workhorse of Britain's roads and a very popular model.

It additionally came with a fully detailed plinth with grass verges and a realistic bus stop, with the interior being detailed with Stagecoach moquette on the seats.

Release number 20, and the 2nd model in the E200 trio was Stagecoach London's 36326. One of the last of its batch and for a brief time in 2024, the oldest bus in standard TfL service, 36326 even carried the Stagecoach Local logos.

This model also came with a TfL specification bus stop, fully detailed with routes and timetables and officially licensed by TfL for use of the London Buses roundel.

Our 21st release was a limited run of special Dealer White Enviro200s on the 8.9m short wheelbase model. A perfect release for collectors and for any Code 3s, it also came with a detailed Stagecoach specification interior including the seat moquette.

Release number 22 saw many firsts for MBC. Our first Arriva model, the first diecast model to have the new Journey Mark livery, and the first ever Enviro400 model to feature the facelift bumper and lights.

The livery and details of the model beautifully reflect the real vehicle, with the facelift details going the extra mile to make this a fantastic model. 

Following on from our previous dealer white releases, the next instalment was to feature the facelift bumper and lights variant of the Enviro400. This enabled many new Code 3 and modelling opportunities as previous white Enviro400s had always had the standard bumper.

Featuring all the details of an Enviro400, this fantastic model stands out as a testament to the detail and design put into it.

MBC's 24th release and 3rd collaboration with Brian Collins Enterprises saw the return of the Enviro500 casting. A Dublin Bus vehicle in the new Transport for Ireland standard livery, complete with a detailed bus stop plinth.

The detail is exquisite, with the livery wonderfully replicated and fantastic detailing on the inside, including moquette on the seats.

A super start to 2026 saw the release of our highly anticipated Superloop Enviro400 MMC, the first of three Superloop models scheduled for this year.

The model is a highly detailed replica of Go Ahead London's EH213 from its time operating rush hour only express route SL6. The livery is beautifully replicated on the model and all the details are captured perfectly.

Celebrating Bromley Bus Garage's centenary in 2024, Stagecoach liveried 11066 in a special "Selkent Diplomat" livery.

This highly detailed Enviro400 MMC model depicts the vehicle on its allocated route, the 261 where it passes through the heart of Bromley itself and links the local communities.

Following on from the standard Selkent Diplomat model release, a special edition depicting the "Celebrating 100 Years of Bromley Bus Garage" blinds were produced.

These limited edition specials are dedicated to the commemoration of Bromley Bus Garage's 100th anniversary, and the Selkent Diplomat livery that was unveiled that day.
